About Erica

My name is Erica May Lin, and I am a graphic designer. I enjoy customizing Fashion Royalty and Barbie dolls, and I also enjoy painting. I have been a graphic designer for over 30 years and now plan to expand my art into the photography of dolls.

I started collecting Barbie dolls in 2003 and Fashion Royalty dolls in 2004. I’ve always loved Barbie dolls ever since childhood and would often cut all of the hair off my dolls in an attempt to be a doll hairstylist. I guess after so many bald dolls and hair mistakes, I finally found my love for styling doll hair. Now I cut, reroot, style, and braid custom styles for my dolls.
